Dear Readers,
Winter is upon us in full force and temperatures tend to plumet, especially at nighttime. Please remember that our four paw-friends also feel cold. They need love and sufficient heat.
For those of you suffering from Seasonal Affected Disorder (“the winter blues”), please read the following article for valuable information and tips: https://www.ellisrealestateblogs.net/posts/winter-depression-or-seasonal-affected-disorder-sa/">https://www.ellisrealestateblogs.net/posts/winter-depression-or-seasonal-affected-disorder-sa/
🚨 Safety - Attention Property Sellers! In the light of two recent incidents in the Northeast area, it's more crucial than ever to stay vigilant when prospective buyers approach you directly. While genuine interest in your property is welcome, criminals often pose as buyers or even as “agents” to gain access to your home. Their intentions are all but kosher. Agents must be registered with the relevant governing body for property practitioners (PPRA), from which they receive a fidelity fund certificate and registration number. Ask agents to property identify themselves. Please always schedule viewings through your trusted agent and never host solo walk-throughs. Your safety isn’t negotiable—protect your space, protect yourself.
🌿 Nature - Nestled right in our backyard, the Wonderboom Nature Reserve is a rare gem teeming with wildlife and natural beauty. The ideal family outing on a sunny winters’ day. While it offers a peaceful retreat, it's also home to curious creatures like monkeys, baboons, jackals, porcupines, rabbits, dassies, and even a few slithery snake species. If you encounter any wild animals, please admire them from a safe distance and avoid approaching. Always respect the fact that they remain wild animals. For everyone’s safety, immediately report sightings to Friends of Free Wildlife so these animals (and you) can be protected. Let's celebrate the wild heart of our community, responsibly.
